With the support of the Mairie de Cap d’Ail and bookseller Nathalie Iris from Mots en Marge, Villa Les Camélias is organizing a book fair. Around twenty authors will meet the public along the shaded garden paths, offering children and adults, book lovers of all kinds, the opportunity to discover new releases, receive unique and personalized dedications, and participate in roundtable discussions hosted by Nathalie Iris.
PROGRAM
- 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm: Guided lecture-tour as part of Museum Night, “La Belle Époque at Villa Les Camélias”.
- 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Children’s workshop / lecture – “The Spider: From Fear to Fascination” by Cécile Miraglio Based on her book *The Spider*, children will discover the secrets of this small predator: anatomy, webs, hunting methods, and reproduction. Naturalistic observation. From age 5. Registration required.

- 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm: Guided lecture-tour as part of Museum Night, “La Belle Époque at Villa Les Camélias”.

With the support of the Mairie de Cap d’Ail and bookseller Nathalie Iris from Mots en Marge, Villa Les Camélias is organizing a book fair. Around twenty authors will meet the public along the shaded garden paths, offering children and adults, book lovers of all kinds, the opportunity to discover new releases, receive unique and personalized dedications, and participate in roundtable discussions hosted by Bernard Lehut, a radio literary expert who has guided our reading choices for decades.
Program:
Book signings, roundtable discussions, live painting, discovery workshop, and conference throughout the afternoon.
Cécile Miraglio, author and illustrator of Les Petits Zécolos, will host a workshop-conference on wasps, designed for children. From 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, children will have the opportunity to study this fascinating insect, learn about its life cycle, diet, and predators, and even handle an inert specimen. (Registration required.)
This date also coincides with the national event “Night of Museums.” To mark the occasion and as the highlight of the season, Villa Les Camélias will host a special conference from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, open to all, titled “Astronomy and Etymology.” As night falls, we will explore the Cap d’Ail night sky from a new perspective, guided by Rémi Collin, author of Celestial Walks (Balades célestes), published by Delachaux and Niestlé.
